Celebrating the Queens Diamond Jubilee in 2012 a new sovereign design has been commissioned.
The redesign of St George and the Dragon by Paul Day. This will be only the fourth change to the design of the
sovereign in over 140 years.

The upcoming year is expected to see lower mintages of the 5 coin Proof Sovereign set.
Only 999 are expected to be announced. The coins should be Available from early November onwards,
